On the 15th of October, HNIT held the opening ceremony of a Chinese-Foreign cooperation program. This cooperation program was jointly run by HNIT and the University of Sunderland. The major is Electrical Engineering and Automation. The director of International Communication Division of Hunan Province Education Department Wang Hongbing, the director of International Communication Division of University of Sunderland SKY, the president of HNIT Zhang Li, the vice-president of HNIT Zhang Ping and Cui Xiaoli etc. attended the opening ceremony.

Wang Hongbing sent her best wishes to this Chinese-Foreign cooperation program, jointly ran by HNIT and University of Sunderland. She also sent gratitude to the University of Sunderland. She hopes that HNIT and the University of Sunderland should legally and considerately run this program and all the students should strive to achieve their goals.

Cui Xiaoli introduced the work done by HNIT at present and the development of international communication of HNIT. She illustrated that we should keep working hard and realize our dreams.

SKY conveyed greetings and wishes from the president of the University of Sunderland, Ms Shirley Atkinson and he hoped that every student of this cooperation program could go to Sunderland to study after three years in HNIT.

The representative for the teachers, Miss Samantha, shared her experience working here and living in her hometown, Liverpool.

The representative for students, Wang Ziwei, talked about his happiness and gratefulness for being a part of this wonderful program. In the mean time, he claimed that he and all the students would cherish this opportunity and study diligently.

At last, president of HNIT Zhang Li announced the official starting of the Chinese-Foreign cooperation program jointly held by HNIT and the University of Sunderland. (Office of International Cooperation and Exchange)
