On the afternoon of May 19, a four-member delegation led by Ryu Soo-kyung, Director of the International Admissions Office of Yeungnam University (South Korea), visited our university. The two sides engaged in discussions on international education cooperation and future collaboration directions. Vice President Liu Xing, along with the deans of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, and the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, attended the meeting.
During the symposium, Vice President Liu Xing extended a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the university's educational characteristics, disciplinary advantages, and international development plans. Ryu Soo-kyung then delivered a speech, introducing the basic academic profile and strengths of Yeungnam University, and expressing the university's strong interest in cooperation with Chinese institutions. Subsequently, the relevant deans presented the programs of their respective schools. The two sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as student exchanges and joint master's degree models, reaching multiple consensus points.
After the symposium, the delegation visited our university's smart classrooms and the Modern Engineering Technology Practice Teaching Department, as well as touring the campus. This exchange activity further enhanced mutual understanding and trust between the two universities, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation and expanded areas of collaboration.
